Bar Code Scanners - Used for reading bar codes into a computer. These include both corded and cordless models with varying interface types such as keyboard wedge, serial and USB (See How do I plug my scanner in for more information)


Bar Code Terminals - Essentially portable computers with built in bar code scanners. These can collect data in batch mode for later down loading or RF mode where data is wirelessly sent back to the host as it is collected. (See the section describing a stock control system for more information on terminal operation)


Software - Existco provide a range of both custom and off the shelf software for bar code related applications.


RFID - Using small embedded chips, radio frequency identification (RFID) tags offer the future for data capture and product tracking. Currently Existco offers a number of product options in this category including custom readers developed by Existco and integrated into existing terminals. and
